If you feel unable to keep yourself safe or you are worried about harming yourself please use the contacts below to access support.
Visit your local A&E Department or call 999 and ask for an ambulance.
If you are concerned about immediate risk of harm to yourself or someone else, phone for an ambulance or go to your nearest A&E hospital.
Ask your GP for an emergency appointment.
GPs will try to keep appointments free on-the-day for emergencies.
Contact your local NHS crisis line
They can provide 24h support for adults and children. You can call on behalf of yourself or someone else. You will speak to a mental health professional.
This team can refer you to NHS services for treatment. They can also tell you about local support services such as helplines, crisis houses or cafés.
Sheffield Support Hub
Sheffield Support Hub offers free mental health support in a welcoming, comfortable, non-judgmental, and non-clinical environment.
Their experienced staff team is available to provide emotional, social and practical support if you are in crisis or feel you are heading toward a crisis situation. This service is for anyone aged 16 and over.
This is a walk-in service with no need to be referred. You can also telephone the Support Hub for an appointment in advance if you prefer. They also offer virtual support via telephone and video call.

High Peak Crisis Support Drop-in Service
A friendly and supportive non-clinical drop-in service for adults experiencing a mental health crisis or emotional distress. Open every weekend.

Our welcoming non-clinical team is here to offer you mental health support and help over the weekend in your time of need in our relaxed and comfortable environment in the heart of Buxton. We can offer you a listening ear in a safe calm space, support with managing your thoughts & feelings, coping and wellbeing strategies, and signposting to other support services.

Open Friday & Saturday evenings 6.00pm to 11.00pm, and Sunday afternoons 2.30pm to 5.30pm every week. Located at Zink in the Market Street Car Park in Buxton, High Peak.
